The Concept of the MPP Program
Political leaders, government officials, and business executives are currently facing new challenges: Globalization and European integration are changing the framework for political action in the European nation states and beyond. Increasing interdependence and complexity of political, economic, social and cultural processes have an impact on all democratic societies.
The Master of Public Policy (MPP) – the first of its kind offered by a German university – reflects these challenges. The program equips future decision makers with the knowledge and practical experience they will need to advance the public interest by enabling them to make policy decisions on a rational basis and by implementing policy programs effectively.
The MPP is designed for highly talented and motivated students who wish to pursue a career in the public sector and aim for executive positions in government agencies or non-profit-organizations, on the local, regional, national, or international level.
